it's been late nights almost all week. i've gotta stop this insomnia of sorts...before it takes its toll on me.
and i'm blaming music.

though i only discovered Anthony Hamilton last summer, his tracks are some of the best neo-soul i've listened to in a while. haha - young-hizzle, i bet you're glad that i'm finally giving a nod to NC beats.

i've been trying to get my hands on Nas' Hip Hop Is Dead. is it worth the buy? i'll admit that i haven't bought a cd since Lupe.

anyway, grand plans tomorrow! SF -> the OC + LA.
teresa and i are gonna play it by ear in SoCal for the long weekend, i.e. we've got no idea what we're gonna be doing. any suggestions? otherwise, getting lost might be fun.

this winter vacation has been a bit different from others. for a while now, i feel that i've lost the little knowledge i once had of Chicago. lately, the desire to explore the city has been so great that i hope to visit it as much as i can during my limited time here at home...

yesterday involved a brief, spontaneous, excursion to (what apparently is) north avenue beach.
