Ah, well. It's been quite a while since the last time wrote anything here, eh? Two days ago the furnace heater in our house broke down. Mind you, it's so freaking cold over here in Chicago! I don't get it, the "official" day of spring passed by a week ago...and the next thing I know snow has covered the ground and made it all pasty white. So, I was stuck freezing my ass of in my freezing ass house! I think I would've written about it earlier, but whenever I tried typing on the keyboard my fingers would slowly freeze up. My daily uniform at home changed from a simple tee and comfy pants to tee, long-sleeve tee, sweatshirt, comfy sweat pants, socks, slippers, and gloves (not fingerless). Sigh. To top it off, yesterday, I was talking on the phone when my mom suddenly bursted into my room with a jug of warm water filled to the brim. Then, before I knew it, she had shoved it into my arms and told me to hug the odd warm mass. "It keep you warm, you listen, I'm a scientist," was her only reasoning. So there I was, holding the phone with my gloves in one hand, and my other arm hugging a jug of warm water. All I can say is: quality Kodak moment.

Hmm..there was something else on my mind that I wanted to write about but I lost track of it. I hate it when that happens.
