Well, I'm back from the University of Michigan! And man, it was quite an experience! Definitely worth it! On Sunday, I stayed over at my friend Joe's dorm. It was a comfortably-sized living space, enough to fit two beds, two desks, a TV, VCR, DVD, Playstation 2 and stereo while also leaving a lil' area of carpet for sitting in the middle of the room. Joe's side of the room was all neat and clean, while his roomie's side was, well, oh let's just say there was a upside down chair on his bed. Sigh. I never got to meet the kid cuz he was away over the weekend. It was all good though just Joe, two of his cell group friends, and I ate pizza (one with mushrooms and one with pineapple) in his absence.
Since it was Sunday, we really didn't go out or do anything. Apparently, Sunday is when all college students cram for upcoming tests and finish assignments due weeks ago. So, after watching some TV and chatting, we all headed to a very nice, plush lounged and studied for 7 hours. It was great! We kept on distracting each other, and who knows how much coffee and Peppero ( Korean version of Pocky) we had. It was even better when Joe brought down some Jalapeno chips and some soda he stole from his roommate. Hmm... then around oh...3-30am, Joe suddenly flung down his pencil and eraser on the desk. I looked up from the book I was almost finishing, and shuddered. You could see the rage growing in his eyes.
Charles: "Joe, man, you look delirious."
Joe: "Mmphm."
Me: " Delious?"
Sandy: "I could sing of your love forever...."
The four of us ending up singing all these old school praise songs. We started singing softly at first, but eventually we all got really loud. It was crazy... we were all just ...so, so tired and so giddy. =P Hehehe...heh. Afterwards, it was nice being told that I was fitting in. Phew. I hope I can keep on hearing positive news from colleges. Man, it feels so damn good to be on spring break right now! So..damn ...good.
