An Auspicious Beginning?it's hard to believe that tomorrow we start a new year. lately, time has been flying by for me, especially in college. as i realize that today is the last day of 2002, i'm looking forward to what lies ahead...but i'm sad that this year is ending.
to sum it all up simpley, i finished my last year at uclab where i've been going to since kindergarten, i experienced an interesting internship and my first well paying job, i left home and started a new life away at college where i know life from there on will never be the same...but i guess most of all, i really spent this past year growing through friendships. not that i don't grow from friendships every year, but i feel that this year was particulary blessed.
it's amazing how you can become close to people in such a short time. personally, i think that there is no coincidence why you click with certain people and don't with others. 2002 was filled with many memories, surprises, and lessons that will go on into 2003. though there were many ups and downs -but positively thinking, i'm very thankful for everything and i don't regret anything.

though it may be painful at times...it'll all be worthwhile in the end. i believe that we all have to remind ourselves that nothing comes easy.

::my new year's verse:: "clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them together in perfect unity." Colossians 12-14

Happy New Year everyone!

hmm... It's been a while since I've really updated by blog. I know there are those of you who enjoy reading it, the very few of you left, so I was thinking that I might end up mirroring both xanga and blogger. Although, that doesn't make blogger any less special than xanga! I started with blogger first so I feel obligated to put in a few random entries or two from time to time. =D It's amazing...once we all started our first semester this year it's becoming a xanga-nation. *sigh* kudos to all those originals who've stuck with blogger all this time.

Let my Words Be Few

You are God in heaven
And here am I on earth
So I'll let my words be few
Jesus, I am so in love with You

And I'll stand in awe of You, Jesus
Yes, I'll stand in awe of You
And I'll let my words be few
Jesus, I am so in love with You

The simplest of all love songs
I want to bring to You
So I'll let my words be few
Jesus, I am so in love with You

I'm not ditchin'! Well, I started a Xanga..er...more like, I decided to write in my Xanga that I've had for months. I guess, since I'm finally in college, it'll be a good place to put down my thoughts - not just random ones I put down in blogger. Part of blogger was written in high school..andI want something new. I see blogger as the not-so-serious side of me - c'mon! it's soo random! Yeah, hopefully for all those who have been reading my blog, I hope it's a good laugh too. If it's not a good laugh, maybe you're wondering about the significance of comfy pants as well. I know I am...why, I'm wondering about them right now. How do they get that soft?

It's been a long time, hasn't it? Did you miss me? Anyways, it was good to go on Thanksgiving break. I spent time with my family, my friends, and Ivan. It felt good to be home, but I also felt so rushed! Thanksgiving break was like a tease, you know? You start getting all comfortable-eating real food, taking showers without flip-flops, and sleeping in your own bed..ahh =)- but before you know it, you have to go back to school and face Finals ahead of you. *sigh* I'll be counting the days...
