Good Day
i started this morning reading uplifting words from paul. i read about his hardships and then about his joy...and it really got me thinking about the recent hardships and joys i've been living.
if i were to describe this day...i would say it was pretty much perfect. my french class went by before i knew it, and afterwards i had coffee with a friend. though it was just simple chit-chat and not exactly soul-searching, just spending the time to sit down in comfy chairs and sip a hot cup of joe just made everything flow. who knows how many times i digressed from the subject of where i would send my kids to school to kicking squirrels.
also,i've realized that i really enjoy english. though, i'm not the best writer nor the best reader, i really enjoy the discussion we have in class. lately, i've been pretty disappointed with michigan and the lack of conversation held in its classes...but hopefully this english course will change all of that. hopefully.
hmm... i can slowly feel the warmth returning to my fingers and my cheeks. what originally started out as a quest for adidas slippers (i've been stealing my roommates), turned out to be the most relaxing walk down liberty. there i was, just walking, listening to the beats of Binary Star, and just thinking. thinking about people, the red painted MR KIM'S MARTIAL ARTS sign i walked by, and how well this day's been going. i'm not sure how long i was walking for...or where i was exactly...but i felt at peace.
i bought some shoe shine. heck, i could for some reason my couldn't pronounce the word "shoe" when the guy asked me what i wanted. it's all good though.
man... =D i love my girls, j and j!
