well, i'm working at Ryerson Tull again - this time at the company's city headquarters. though the location has changed from corporate suburban surroundings to a dirtier, industrial setting, i don't expect working here to be that much different (yet, coffee and hot chocolate isn't free...hmmm). nothing exciting has happened yet, nor do i think anything exciting is going to happen anytime soon. my job here is to go through an incredibly long list of companies RyTull corresponds with and then contact those who owe money. yes. i am a debt collector.
i just had lunch at the company's "Steel Away Cafe" and bought a bottle of water from a rather entertaining vending machine. unlike most vending machines where the desired beverage of choice usually drops from its spot, this Coke vending machine has some weird arm-like contraption that moves to the drink you want and then delivers it the side of the machine where you can then retrieve it. i guess it's hard to picture and explain...but i have a feeling i'll be buying more Coke products from now on.
