to people who wear flip flops:
don't you hate it when you step into a puddle of water/mud and the bottom of your flip flops toss that dirt on the back of your bare legs or pants? i do.
today, teresa and i (along with what seemed like all of new york) were caught in a rain storm while leaving central park. we only had one measily (but colorfully dotted!) umbrella to share between the two of us. it rained so much that we were both drenched, blocks before the subway stop.
and of course, my flip flops had managed to toss what seemed like a bucket of water all over my jeans. yeah, that's right, it was a "great" feeling.
...and the best part was, that after a while, i really didn't care. props, rain, props - you made me feel like a better person all over again!
thought: sometimes i try to hard, and othertimes not enough. i just don't want to waste my time.
