I'm currently living my second day on the job, and it ain't so bad. Right now, the network is down..so I'm relaxing, iming, and blogging before I go out to lunch.

Yesterday, I started my first day of work at Ryerson Tull, a steel company. I'm working in the accounting division and my job pretty much is to enter a bunch of data entries into a computer. When I found out about the job, I invited Ivan to join me, so we're working together. We drove to work in Oakbrook, an area filled with sleek white, glass, and shiny office buildings.... and found our office building behind all that. *sigh* it's a ghetto brown, cement complex. We were pretty disappointed...so close! But our spirits lifted when we went inside. We were each given our very own gray cubicles - complete with nice black Dell computer, phone, swanky hanger (only for me...Ivan doesn't have one..hehe loser), drawers, desk, office supplies, two comfy chairs..TWO, and stapler (mine's red). The access to free coffee, hot water, tea, microwaves, vending machines(score!), and refrigerators is pretty sweet too. Sigh..today Ivan and I brought in stuff to decorate our cubicles to make them a lil' more homey. I brought in some flowers from the garden, Michigan Pride, and posted up a couple graduation photos. I'm really liking it now. Ivan's, is well, cars. Hehe..well..I gotta go eat lunch at Diho now. hmm...about time. Better go back to wasting time....sigh...hmm..let's see who's on my buddy list..oh- look, I'll IM Ivan.
